Ascend the iconic Harbor Bridge, tour the Opera House and fly to Hobart, capital of Australia's State of Tasmania, to discover some of Australia's most interesting venues. Tour Hobart and bushwalk wild Cradle Mountain National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with stunning glacial and mountain landscapes. In the wombat-rich Tamar Valley photograph endemic Australian fauna and the varied eucalypt and myrtle forests of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area. Narawntapau National Park is renowned for its avian abundance and wildlife. In the northwestern wilderness of Tasmania stay in private conservation areas where one is quite likely to encounter duck-billed platypus, quolls, pademelons and a good chance to see Tasmanian Devils on a nighttime foray. Fly to Melbourne and drive the Great Ocean Highway. Edge spectacular coastal formations such as the Twelve Apostle sea stacks and dramatic surf-pounded cliffs.
